With all the cleansers, toners, serums, moisturizer and more others, your skin care routines can be quite overwhelming. Knowing the right order to apply your skin care can make it work more effectively. Here are the steps to apply your makeup.
In The Morning
1. Cleanser
Starting your morning off with a gentle cleanser.
2. Toner
A cleanser doesn't do much. Hence, using a toner is a great way to finish off this first phase. It assures all dirt and oils are wiped away.
3. Serum (Optional)
After making sure our skin is clean, it's time to focus on the problem areas. Serum is a great solution to uneven skin tone, dull skin, fine line and more.
4. Moizturizer
This one is so important, no matter what is your skin type it's important to use a moisturizer with SPF daily.
5. Eye Cream
Apply your eye cream last after using your moisturizer. It's really helpful to use an eye cream no matter what your age is, because the skin around your eyes is different from the rest of your face.
In The Evening
1. Cleanser
Start with cleanser as usual, but it is optional to use something stronger to really deep clean the dirt away from your face. If you use makeup, do double clean your makeup first with milk cleanser or micellar water.
2. Toner
3. Acne Treatment (Optional)
It's most effective to apply your acne treatment right after you cleaned your face so that it's closest to the skin.
4. Serum (Optional)
If you've applied an acne treatment, wait for it to dry before applying serum. Use the same one from the morning for the best results.
5. Night Cream
Now it's time to apply your night cream-yes, it's different from your daily moisturizer. Night cream slowly absorbs into the skin overtime and it is super hydrating.
6. Eye Cream
7. Facial Oil (Optional)
